Notification Area : It notifies about the tasks that are happening on the
system.
Time and Date : It shows the current time and date. To see the full
date, position the mouse over the time. To change the date or time,
click the time.
Start Button : It is located on the bottom-left corner of the desktop. It is
used to open the Start menu.
Start Menu : The Start Menu is like a road map for your computer. It
lets you launch applications, shut down your computer, access system
settings and much more.
Start menu is divided into two parts, i.e., left
part and right part.
Left part shows all the installed apps like
Power settings, File Explorer and User’s icon.
Right part contains the tiles or live tiles that
can be customised, resized and reorganised.
Search Box : The search box allows you to search specific items such
as apps, music, documents and settings on your computer quickly.
