Notice that the diary entry:

h begins with the date, day and time of writing the diary.

h Important events of the day are mentioned.

h the writer expresses his/her thoughts and feelings about what happened in the course of
the day. This is essential, otherwise it would become a sequence of event only.
h the tone is informal, conversional and chatty.

h some people give their diaries speacial names and begin an entry by addressing the diary
e.g., ‘Dear Dairy’ or ‘Dear Mine’ etc.

Now, imagine you are Kaku. You have just come back to your room after a long day’s
journey on the Lal Hawa. Write a dairy entry recalling all that happened during the day and
how you felt at the end of it.
