              Skin

We have skin all over our body.

With the help of skin, we can touch and feel

things around us. It is the largest sense organ

              of our body.

Our skin tells us what is hot, cold, hard and soft.

               * Some parts of our body help us to sense and feel things around us. These
                    are called sense organs.

               * We have five sense organs in all, namely eyes, ears, nose, tongue and skin.

               * Eyes help us to see, nose helps to smell, ears help us to hear, tongue helps
us to taste and skin helps us to feel.
