Houseboat

A houseboat is a boat with rooms in it. It

is a floating house. People in Kashmir live
in houseboats.

Caravan

A caravan is a house on wheels. It
can be moved from one place to

another. People like Gypsies and
Banjaras live in caravans.

Igloo

An igloo is made up of ice bricks.
Eskimos live in igloos.

Igloos are found in places which
are very cold and covered with the

ice.

Tent
A tent is made up of canvas and can

be fixed anywhere. It can be easily

folded and carried along. People who
move from place to place are called

nomads. Nomads live in temporary
houses such as tents and caravans.

Soldiers and scouts generally use
tents for campaign.
