Farm Animals
                                                  Animals  are  used  for  their  physical  strength  on

                                                  farms. They are used for ploughing the fields and
                                                  also  to  drive  many  farm  machines.  Bullocks  are
                                                  even  used  to  draw  water  from  the  wells  for
                                                  irrigation.



              Care of Animals


              Animals are our friends and they depend on us for all their needs. We should
              be sensitive to them and treat them with love and care.

              Follow these steps to care for the animals at home:

              g  Treat them kindly.

              g  Take them to a vet when they are hurt or sick.

              g  Do not disturb them while they are eating.


              g  Keep their shelters neat and clean.

              g  Feed them well.

              g  Give them proper rest.                                                           Vet





               * The beginning of using animals started when man learnt to domesticate animals.
               * Animals are used to travel, to pull heavy loads, to ride and even for various sports.

               * Animals like horses, elephants, camels, bullocks, ponies and yaks are used to carry
                  goods and people from one place to another.
