37 Parts of Plants
Read the story and label the various parts of the plant in the
picture given below.
Mini, the baby ant, was eager to climb
to the top of a flowering plant.
Her mother told her the way to go up.
She told that the plant was standing
in soil with the help of roots .
She started her journey from where
she could see the plant above the
ground called the stem .
Along all sides of the stem, some
green structures were hanging. Mini
took rest on one leaf .
Then, she kept moving up on the
stem and reached near the top. There
she saw a beautiful flower with
yellow coloured petals .
She climbed the flower to reach the
top of the plant.
Mini felt good to be at the top of the
plant.
