            Ascending and Descending Order



            When numbers are arranged from smallest to greatest, it is


            called ascending order                  .


            Example: 26, 27, 34, 43, 48


            When numbers are arranged from greatest to smallest, it is


            called descending order                   .


            Example: 46, 45, 39, 34, 26, 21
