i There are many types of the plants on the earth including flowering plants and non-flowering
                    plants.
i The underground part of the plant forms root system and the part above the ground form the
                    shoot system.

i The branches of the primary root are called secondary root.
i The two systems of root are the taproot and the fibrous root.
i Some stems are modified to carry out vegetative propagation which is a form of asexual
                    reproduction seen in plants.
i Buds which grow into a new shoot are called vegetative buds.

i A leaf generally consists of a leaf stalk or petiole.
i A bisexual flower is a flower that contains both male flowers and female buds.

i Flowers are specially modified shoot.
i The seed in a plant is the part that is developed from the ovules after fertilisation.
I When a seed finds favourable conditions of water, oxygen and temperature, it grows into a
                    baby plant called seedling.
