Static electricity : Electricity produced by rubbing two objects. It does not move.

Current electricity : Electricity that moves through conductors
Electric circuit : A combination of various conductors joined together
Conductor : Material which allows electricity to pass through it
Insulator : Material which does not allow electricity to pass through it

Close circuit : A circuit through which electricity passes continuously
Open circuit : A circuit which brakes the flow of electricity

i Electricity is also a form of energy.
i Electric charges are defined as (+ve) positive or (–ve) negative charges.
i Like charges repel each other while unlike charge attract each other.
i Copper, silver, gold, graphite, etc. are conductor of electricity.

i Wood, rubber, plastic, etc. are good insulators.
i Water is a poor conductor of electricity.
