Preface






              Symphony Science is a series of science for the students of classes        6 to  8. This series is based
              on  the  latest  prescribed  guidelines  recommended  by  the  NCERT     .  Its  main  aim  is  to  develop

              scientific attitude in the students. It can help the students in developing curiosity about the
              environment around them. It emphasises the students on meaningful learning for their overall
              development.


              Some main features of the series are as follows:

              F  Activity section is added inside the chapters to gain knowledge through playful activities.

              F  Word Trivia help in building vocabulary and explain the key words of the chapter.

              F  Let’s Revise includes a brief summary of the chapter in the form of important points.

              F  Exercise  includes  short  and  long  questions,  fill-ups,  MCQs,  match  the  columns,  etc.  and

                 challenges the students to retain and recall the concepts which they have studied.

              F  Project Activity is given to increase the creativity of the students and gives an opportunity
                 to do the tasks on their own.

              F  HOTS questions help in developing the thinking skill of the students.

              F  Model  Test  Papers  are  given  at  the  end  of  each  book  to  test  the  performance  of  the
                 students.
