A. In the beginning of the lesson, you were asked to look for clues to find evidence about the
engineering skills of the Harappans. Could you succeed? Check with the following list:

The Harappans showed great engineering skills in the makings of:
burnt bricks, building of drains, granaries, the Great Bath, bathrooms, pottery-making,
beads, spindles, jewellery, seals, weights and measures, bronze figurines, toy carts, boats,
whistles, and the dockyard. The dockyard needed special skills too.
B. Make models of Harappan jewellery with paper dresses and hairstyles. If you want you can
even have a fashion show!

C. Use any of the symbols or motifs shown in the seals and pottery and design a cloth
handkerchief, bedcover, a kurta, shirt or skirt, You may use paper. Hold an exhibition for all
classes to see.
