                                                                    by  Kashi,  it  was  later  annexed  by  Kosala  under
                                                                    the rule of King Kansa who ruled at the time of
                                                                    Buddha.

                                                                    Buddha and Mahavira both belonged to ganas or
                                                                    sanghas. The ganas or sanghas continued to rule
