Scratch is a programming language with an online

community where children can do programming
and can share. Interactive media such as stories,

games and animation with people from all over the
world. As children create with Scratch, they learn to

think creatively, work collaboratively and reason
systematically. Scratch is designed and maintained

by the lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media
Lab.

Starting Scratch

To start Scratch. 2
1. Click on the Start button.

A list of installed apps will 1

appear.

You can also scroll down to find the Scratch app in the left pane of the

Start menu.

2. Click on the Scratch 2 .

The Scratch window will
appear.
