Adding a Worksheet
To add a new worksheet, click on the plus sign next to the last worksheet tab. A new
blank worksheet will be created. Alternatively, you can click on ‘Sheet’ under on the
top menu bar of Excel.

To rename a worksheet.
1. Right-click on a
worksheet tab.
2. Select Rename .
3. Type the new name for
your worksheet.

The new name of the
worksheet will
appear.

Sheet area is the place where you type your text. The flashing vertical bar is called the
insertion point and it represents the location where text will appear when you type.
