Once upon a time, there was a fox. He was looking for food. He
was so hungry that he could not walk fast to find something to eat.
He was very weak and tired. No matter how hard he tried, the fox
could not find anything to eat.
Finally, he decided to go to the edge of the forest. He walked
with great difficulty. Somehow, he reached there and searched for
food.
He was feeling very weak. He thought that he should sit under
the shade of a tree for some time. He decided to take rest and then
again start searching for food. edge : a border of a surface
He found a tree with a very searched : looked through carefully
large trunk and huge branches. sight : a view
He thought that it was the
best place to rest. He sat
under the tree. Suddenly,
he caught sight of a big
hole in the trunk of
the tree.
He could see
something placed
inside the hole. It
smelled like food. He
became very happy.
He tried to see the
things in the hole.
