Inside the hole, there was a package . The hungry fox thought
that there might be food in it, and he became very happy.
Without thinking more, he jumped into the hole. He opened the
package. Great! He saw there was a lot of food in the package. It
had bread, meat and fruits.
An old woodcutter had placed the food in the tree trunk while
he cut down trees in the forest. It was his lunch.
The fox happily began to eat. He ate till he could not eat
anymore.
After the fox had finished eating, he felt thirsty and decided to
leave the trunk and drink some water from a nearby spring . He tried
hard to come out of the hole but he could not get out.
