Types of Sentences – Declarative and Interrogative

Declarative sentences are simple statements about people and things.
               For example:

                    Meera is a healthy girl.
Declarative sentences can be affirmative or negative.

               For example:
The tree was very big. (affirmative)

The bag was not very heavy. (negative)

Interrogative sentences ask questions. They start with question words or the auxiliary
verbs and end with a question mark.
               For example:

What is your name? (what, who, when, where, whose, how)
Is she your friend? (is, am, are, do, does, was, were, has, have, had, shall and
                    will)

Change the following sentences into their negative forms.

             1. Kitty is my best friend.
             2. I am going to play today.

             3. Mohan was very happy with his result.

             4. Ashu is going on a school trip.
