Sentence – Its Types
A sentence is a group of words that make a complete sense. There are four kinds of
sentences. They are – Assertive or Declarative Sentence, Interrogative Sentence,
Imperative Sentence and Exclamatory Sentence.
G Assertive sentences say or state something. They can be affirmative or negative.
G Interrogative sentences ask questions about something.
G Imperative sentences express a command, request or an advice.
G Exclamatory sentences express a strong emotion or feeling.
