Altitude Sickness
As we climb up the mountains, the atmospheric pressure decreases and
there is very little oxygen in the air. Many climbers face altitude sickness. The
common symptoms of altitude sickness are severe headache sleeping
,
problem nausea lack of appetite, , and body ache.
Falling Rocks and Blocks of Ice
Every rock mountain is slowly breaking down due to erosion . So, rocks and
ice blocks often fall down with great speed. This becomes a danger for
mountaineers.
National Flags and Mountain Peaks
When the mountaineers reach at the top of mountains, they unfurl their
National Flags. Flag is used as a sign of National pride. When the flag is
hoisted, everyone present at the moment stands to honour the flag. It is
hoisted briskly and lowered slowly. If two flags are to be flown, they are
flown at the same height, side-by-side.
