Hawa Mahal
It is also called the Palace of Winds . It is a five-
storey building that was built by Maharaja
Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. It is of a pyramid
shape made up of small casements each having
a tiny window with an arched roof.

The Charminar
The Charminar is a splendid piece of
architecture located in Hyderabad, Andhra
Pradesh. It was built by Quli Qutub Shah in
1591. This beautiful structure derives its name
from its four carved minarets. The minarets
soar high around 487 metres each The Charminar
above the ground. It was built
with granite and marble. Hawa Mahal has 593 windows in it.
The Golden Temple
The Golden Temple or the Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar is the holiest shrine
of the Sikh religion. The temple has been destroyed and rebuilt several times.
A sacred tank in which pilgrims bathe, surrounds the temple. It was built
during the reign of Akbar, who had great respect for all religions. It was a
time when the fourth Guru, Guru Ramdas, was alive.
