            Famous in India brings to you personalities who have made a difference to

            India in the fields of politics, dance and music literature, science, religion,
            industry, cinema etc. and contributed a lot to India’s culture and spirit. Each

            one of them has contributed towards the progress of India in their own way.

            Read the descriptions about some great people of the past. Try to identify
            them. Take help from the pictures.

                                      1.  Born in 1469, he founded a religion, combining
                                          the ideas of Hinduism and Islam.

             Dr A P J Abdul Kalam is no more among us but the important life lessons which he taught

             will  continue  to  inspire  many  generations  to  came.  Dr  Kalam  once  said,  “Creativity  in
