Converting from One Unit to Another
Let us learn to convert from bigger unit to a smaller unit.
1 hour = 60 minutes
1 minute = 60 seconds
Converting minutes into seconds
Example : Convert 8 minutes into seconds.
Solution : 1 minute = 60 seconds
8 minutes = 8 × 60 seconds
= 480 seconds

Example : Convert minutes into seconds.

Solution : 1 minute = 60 seconds
4 minutes = 4 × 60 seconds
= 240 seconds
