2. Draw a hexagon by taking all sides equal. Measure all angles. Join their
ends and form as much triangles as you can.

Measure the angles of each triangle. Is there any four side figure ?

Classification of Angles

Angles are classified into different kinds according to their measurements. We shall
learn about them here.

Straight Angle
An angle whose measure is 180° is called a straight angle .

ÐQMN and ÐNMQ are straight angles.

Acute Angle

An angle whose measure is more than 0° but less than 90° is called an acute angle .

ÐXYZ and ÐONM are acute angles.
