Naming an Angle
An angle can be named in different ways. We can name an angle by using three letters
of the English alphabet. For example, ÐABC, ÐPQR, etc.

We can name these angles as ÐCBA or ÐRQP also. The point where the angle is formed
must come in the middle. In above mentioned examples, the angles are formed at B
and Q.

We can also name an angle
by the vertex only.
Example : ÐB, ÐY etc.

Angles can also be named by assigning a numeral to the angle.
Example : Ð1, Ð2 etc.

Interior and Exterior of an Angle :
An angle has two parts—interior and exterior. The point lying inside the angle form the
interior of the angle.
The point lying outside the angle form the exterior of the angle.
