Tablet Smart Phone

The concept of smart phone was developed by a company called Palm Computing in
1996. Though it did not attract consumers excitement but it revolutionised the IT
industry.

Tablets

These are portable computers equipped with a touch screen as a hybrid screen which

can be operated by using a digital pen or fingertip instead of keyboard and mouse.
These are handy in comparison to laptops.

Multi-touch tablets are also available these days which can be operated using multiple
fingers at the same time.

Computer Languages

Around the world, language is a source of communication among human beings.
Similarly, in order to communicate with computer user also needs to have a language,
that should be understandable by the computers. For this purpose different languages

are developed for performing different types of work on the computer.
Just as hardware is classified into generations based on technology, computer

languages also have a generation classification based on the level of interaction with
the machine.

First Generation Languages or 1GLs

Machine language is considered to be the first generation of languages. Its one and
foremost advantage is that its execution is faster as computer starts executing it
directly.
