Every culture in the world has its own traditional music and some even have
unique musical instruments. Let’s read about some of these musical
instruments.
The tambourine originated in Egypt. It is a small, one-
sided drum with small metal discs around it.

The bagpipe is from Ireland. It has two or more pipes
and a bag. It produces sound when the bag is pressed.

The balalaika is a triangle-shaped string instrument
from Russia. It usually has three strings.

A trumpet is a tube shaped partly like a cylinder and
partly like a cone. It’s front is shaped like a cup.

A xylophone is a flat instrument with different sizes of
wooden bars. It is usually played by striking these
wooden bars with small wooden hammers.
