Looking Back
In our country, we deal with money in terms of rupees and paise. The
symbol we use for rupees is ‘`’ and paisa or paise is ‘p’.
As we know that 100 paise = 1 rupee or ` 1
\1 paisa is one hundredths of a rupee.
1 paisa = 1 ÷ 100 rupee = 0.01 rupee = ` 0.01
