Objective : To develop the concept of making a bar graph.

            Materials Required : White chart paper, stickers and marker.


            Preparation : Make grids on the chart paper of the size of sticker. This is a class
            activity, students take turns to do the activity.

            Steps :

            1.  The students will write their names on their stickers.

            2.  The  students  will  observe  the  charts  and  stick  their  sticker  on  the  grid
                 according to their favourite fruit.

            3.  After  the  entire  class  has  completed  the  activity  each  student  is  asked  to

                 answer the questions given below with the help of the bar graph.

            3.  The fruit preferred by the maximum students.                                      ___________
