Therefore, 9642 – 8432 = 1210.
Addition of 5-Digit and 6-Digit Numbers
When we add 5-digit numbers, we first add the ones, then the tens, then the
hundreds followed by the thousands and lastly the ten thousands.
Same as the addition of 5-digit numbers, when we add 6-digit numbers
after adding ten thousands, we add the lakhs at the end.
Look at some examples of addition.
Without Regrouping
Example : Add 64321 and 34232.
