A keyboard has many different keys on it. There are numbers,
alphabets and some symbols printed on these keys.

Till now, you have been using the keyboard to type letters and

numbers.

Let’s read about some other keys and their

functions.

Cursor Control Keys

Cursor
The cursor keys are used to move the cursor–a

small blinking line on any document.

There are four arrow keys. Each one is used to

move the cursor in the directions marked on it.

At the top of the keyboard, there is a row of 12 keys marked with

F1 to F12. These keys are called function keys .
