*  Anything that is useless and unwanted is called waste material.
               * The two types of wastes are- biodegradable and non-biodegradable.

               * The  wastes  can  be  disposed  off  by  open  dumping,  land  filling  and
                  incineration.
               * Composting is a good method of disposing off biodegradable wastes.

               * We  can  solve  the  problem  of  waste  disposal  by  following  the  three  R’s–
                  Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
               * It is the responsibility of every individual to keep one’s surroundings clean.
