He/She is often accompanied by vomiting and convulsions. The presence of

              malaria can be confirmed by a blood test.

              How can We Prevent Malaria?

              We  should  take  certain  precautions  to  prevent  malaria.  Here  are  a  few  of
              them:


              g  Minimise  hiding  places  in  the  house,  as  mosquitoes  hide  themselves
                   behind curtains, cupboards, etc.

              g  Fix wire nettings to prevent mosquitoes from entering the house.

              g  Use mosquito repellents like Goodnight                    to keep mosquitoes away.


              g  Do not allow water to collect in ditches.

              g  Clean the water coolers and dry them when you do not use them. Put
                   some drops of kerosene oil in it.

              g  Use mosquito repellents ointment on your body.

              g  Wear full sleeve shirts and full pants to protect yourself from mosquito

                   bites.

                   underwater plants.

               * Fish breathe air dissolved in water through special organs called gills.

               * Frogs and toads are amphibians that live both in water and on land.
               * Mosquitoes are parasitic insects that feed on animal and human blood.

               * Female anopheles mosquito spreads malaria.
