Thus, 0.34 is greater than 0.331.
In the above example, you can see 0.34 has less decimal digits than 0.331. It is easier to
compare two decimals when you have the same number of decimal digits. So, an extra
zero was written to the right of the digit 4 in the decimal 0.34. We are able to do this
because 0.34 and 0.340 are equivalent decimals.

Addition of Decimals
Adding decimals is very similar to adding whole numbers except with a few extra
technical details. Recall that decimals are just fractions. We add fractions by adding the
