                                                  “Home is
the place where your heart resides,
Home is the place that you decide,
Home is the womb that holds the soul,

Home is the place where one is whole.”
Let us study about some different
                                                    homes.

One day, Neeta went to her grandfather’s
village to attend the wedding of her cousin.

Her grandfather said, “Neeta, did you notice

that the houses in the village are totally
different from the houses in cities?”

“Yes, Grandpa! But why is it so?” asked Neeta.

Grandfather replied, “This is because the
houses in the village are mostly kutcha
houses, whereas in cities there are pucca
houses.” Neeta had never heard about kutcha

and pucca houses earlier. So, she asked her
              grandfather to explain the differences
              between these two houses.

              Houses in Rural Areas

Houses in villages are very simple. They are
called kutcha houses. These are temporary
houses made up of mud having thatched
                                                                                            Kutcha House
