children. Some people entertain people by showing mock fights between
mongoose and a snake, some use a musical instrument called been to make
a snake dance, while some arrange shows in which monkeys make people
laugh by their tricks.

Some animals like bear, chimpanzee, lion, elephant, rabbit, dog, parrot, etc.

are used in circus to entertain people. They are trained for shows. But, they
are exploited in a circus.

However, in recent times the government has banned such activities wherein
animals are tortured.

Conservation of Wildlife

The number of some animals is decreasing day-by-day. Some animals are

very useful to us and maintain balance in our environment. People and our
government are showing concern about the decline in animals’s number.
Many National Parks and Sanctuaries have been established to conserve

wildlife. Projects like Project Tiger and Project Elephant have been started to
protect wild animals.
