When we talk about a verb being finite or non-finite, we are talking
about the relationship between the verb and the subject of the sentence.

Finite Verb
A verb that changes its form according to number, person and tense is called a finite verb .
Read the following examples:
1. Mehek usually gets up early in the morning.
2. The Chief Guest was welcomed by the Principal.
Non-Finite Verb
A verb that does not change its form according to number, person and tense is called a
non-finite verb.
Read the following examples:
1. The derailed coaches of the train were put back on the track.
2. The injured man helped others in crisis.
