8 Time
Looking Back
Time is an important factor in our life. We use clock to read time. Before
starting the chapter, let us revise in short what we have studied in our
previous class.
1. Read out the time from the following clocks and write in the boxes.
2. Draw the hour-hand, minute-hand in the clock faces to represent the
time shown.

Time is measured by a clock or a watch. Before going ahead, let us recall the
following quickly.
60 seconds = 1 minute
60 minutes = 1 hour
24 hours = 1 day
3600 seconds = 1 hour
