Properties of Multiplication

Property 1 : Commutative Property of Multiplication

When two numbers are multiplied together, the product is

the same regardless of the order of the multiplicands.

i.e., a × b = b × a

Example : Find the product of 38 × 26 and 26 × 38.

× 2 6 × 3 8 property is also known

Thus, we conclude that the answer is same in both the cases.
