Some days are special to the groups
of people, they are called festivals.

Let us learn about different types of
festivals which we celebrate.

We all love to celebrate festivals. On festivals, people greet one
another and spend time with their family members, relatives and

friends. Festival is the time of celebration and joy.

People in our country celebrate so many festivals that is why India is

called land of festivals.

In different times of the year, different festivals are celebrated.

There are three main kinds of festivals celebrated in India:

g Religious festivals

g Harvest festivals

g National festivals

Now, let us learn about each type of festival celebrated in our
country.
