g We should not eat too many sweets and chocolates.
g We should brush our teeth twice a day – once in the morning and once
at night to keep them clean.
g Teeth should be flossed regularly. It helps
to get rid of food that is hidden where
your toothbrush cannot reach. Flossing
also helps to remove plaque and food
particles between our teeth and along the
gums.
g Keep an eye on the gums for signs of gum
disease. Puffy, red or tender gums,
bleeding gums or bad breath suggest to
consult a dentist.
g We should eat plenty of raw fruits and
vegetables. This will give a good exercise
to the teeth.
g We should not use very hard brush to clean our teeth. Hard bristles can
hurt our gums. Toothbrush should be changed after every three months.
