Word Problems
Example : 16 pencils are packed in a box. How many
boxes will be needed to pack 272 pencils ?
Solution : 272 ÷ 16 = ?

Thus, 17 boxes will be needed to pack 272 pencils.
Example : A litre of petrol takes Mr Verma’s car a
distance of 18 km. How many litres of
petrol would be needed to go 756 km ?
Solution : 756 ÷ 18 = ?
